CORAS is a community-driven organization dedicated to supporting sex workers and human trafficking survivors by providing access to safer work environments, essential resources, and advocacy. We believe in empowerment through education, decriminalization, and harm reduction, ensuring that those in our community have the tools and support they need to thrive. Our approach prioritizes safety, dignity, and respect, offering direct assistance while challenging systemic barriers that perpetuate discrimination and violence.

Sex workers and trafficking survivors often face immense barriers when seeking traditional social services due to stigma, discrimination, and institutional bias. Many are denied access to housing, healthcare, financial services, and justice simply because of their history (present or past) in the sex industry. CORAS works to bridge this gap by offering advocacy, basic needs support, and resources tailored to their unique needs. We fight for policy changes that recognize sex workers’ rights and ensure survivors receive the support they deserve without judgment or exclusion.

We also foster inclusive spaces where sex workers can safely integrate into the broader community alongside allied vendors. Through events like our markets and community get togethers, we create opportunities for connection, resource-sharing, and financial independence—without fear of being outed, or facing discrimination. Community is vital for sex workers but especially for the majority vulnerable groups (Women, LGBTQIA+, disabled women, women of color, indigenous women) involved in the sex industry.

Our work is rooted in the belief that every individual, including survivors and sex workers, deserves the right to live and work with dignity, free from harm and discrimination. Sex workers and survivors deserve better.

At CORAS, we envision a future where sex workers and survivors are respected, protected, and treated as equals in society. Through education, advocacy, and direct action, we strive to dismantle harmful stereotypes and create lasting, systemic change.
Together, we are building a world where sex workers and survivors can thrive, knowing they have a community that stands beside them.
